Inside Jobs

February 10, 2015

It's that time of year where we find ourselves loving our indoor projects for keeping us warm and dry. While our onsite crews have been keeping busy, our shop has been wonderfully alive lately with several projects. Here's what we've been up to:

This medallion will be inset into the hardwood floor at the Lifestyle Center at Magnolia Green. Custom milled from walnut and oak salvaged from Afton's parents' land in Rockville. The process was extraordinary to watch. We can't wait to see it in its new home soon!

Freshly milled wood glued up and ready to head to the router.

Put together and getting sanded.

Almost ready to be delivered and installed.

Custom walnut mantel ready to be installed on the beautiful fireplace being built by WestView in Richmond.

Sneak peak at the fireplace (backside), under construction.

Fabricating handrails for a beautiful porch addition we've just finished up in Goochland.

Couldn't resist the "supervisor" checking in on Brent while he worked on this project. Promise we'll share the photos of the porch, complete with rails soon :)

Amazing radius cut (by hand!) travertine for front porch project in Richmond. Seriously, how talented are these guys?! Promise to share photos of this project soon as well.

Routing up a storm. Custom signage for golf course in Moseley.

Stay warm, friends. It won't be long until the sun comes out again....
